The holidays bring some needed rest, especially after the wild ride traders have had this past year. Christmas and New Year’s Day are right around the corner.
As a reminder, note the following holiday market hours listed below for 2023 going into 2024.
Christmas Trading Hours
- This Sunday, Dec. 24, the markets are closed
• This Monday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day), the markets are closed (US Day Session)
then reopens Monday, December 25th (US Night Session) at normal times
**Friday, December 22, 2023, and Tuesday, December 26th – Regular Trading Hours.
New Year’s 2023 – 2024 Trading Hours
- Sunday, December 31, 2023, and Monday, January 1, 2024 (US Day Session) – Market “CLOSED” then opens Monday, January 1st (US Night Session) at normal times.
**Friday, December 29, 2023 and Tuesday, January 2, 2024 – Regular Trading Hours
