10-Min Price Action Blueprint Trade

April 27, 2011

John Paul just finished a how-to price action webinar and saw an opportunity to go long in the E-mini market. He places a trade to go long based on the Blueprint method (taught in Power Price Action). He's a bit late and the market is slow, so he's just going for a few ticks. Notice how clean and clutter-free the charts are. No indicators here. He's only in the trade for about 10 minutes. Eight weeks of live training are included with Power Price Action. Mentorship's eight weeks of training includes much more.

Count the Number of Winning Euro Trades

April 12, 2011

Remember, only short trades when price is below the Atlas Line. John Paul enters short based on the short signal. There's no signal here – why short then? At least two bars pulled back green followed by one red closing candle. The closing price of that candle is the entry, 1327.75. Yes, the previous Dbl Bar Short was a winner, too. Count the number of winning Euro trades. Despite the chop, the Atlas Line was successful in finding many winners. Power Price Action and the Atlas Line are a great combination.

Atlas Line Trades Across Many Markets

March 17, 2011

Do you trade the CL market (Crude Oil)? The entry was at 100.08. After the long signal, the market kept on moving. When looking at all the systems and indicators on the market, it's difficult to find one tool that works on many different markets. The Atlas Line does this, as there are few options to configure. The rules are straightforward. Using 24-hour data is important, but NinjaTrader's free data feeds provide this. Watch to learn how to switch it from only the pit session to include overnight as well. Hint: use Ninja's Data Series screen.

Trade Management & Price Action Rules

March 17, 2011

The Atlas Line produces long signal. The profit target should be 2 to 2.5 points. The Dbl Bar signal text appears at 1266.5. Look at how fast the buyers and sellers are moving on the DOM's L2 (level II) data. Why so quick? A news event that luckily pushed the market to the long side. Normally, John Paul recommends staying out of the market during this volatility. Always look for a profit target that is achievable. The ATR (Average True Range) helps tell you a reasonable level. Use the ATM Strategy to automate placement.

Live Training Included With Atlas Line

March 11, 2011

Five Atlas Line Bounce signals occurred this morning on the E-mini S&P. Now, two candles have closed above the line. John Paul enters a long trade at 1291.50. The ATR is at 1.81. In this case, the profit target should be 1.75 to 2 points. Faster markets can potentially reach larger profit targets. All the plan is there for you on the chart – no guesswork. A live webinar is included with each purchase to make sure you understand how it works. Price reaches the profit target. Remember to roll over your contract!

How to Roll Over Futures Contracts

March 11, 2011

Ever three or four months, John Paul gets the same emails asking him how to roll over futures contracts. Why roll over? You can't trade the same contract forever. The way futures markets are set up, every three months, a new contract period begins and the previous one expires. March, June, September, and December are the rollover months. Some traders use the second Thursday or Friday rule, but the best way is to check the CME website to find the exact date. Use NinjaTrader's Instrument Manager and you can keep trading a liquid market.

Can You Trade the Euro Currency Market?

March 7, 2011

The short answer is yes, you can trade the Euro forex market or the Euro (6E) futures market. The activity is almost identical. Because the Atlas Line is based on price action, as long as you have live 24 hour data coming to the chart, the Atlas Line will plot signals based on what it sees the market doing. The Atlas Line provides a short signal, so that means the market bias is to look for selling moments. There was also a nice E-mini S&P trade the same day. If price was to retrace and go back up with two closes on the opposite side, a long signal would appear.

Can You Scalp the E-mini With the Atlas Line?

March 7, 2011

The blue line with the accompanying Dbl Bar signals is all part of the same price action trading software, the Atlas Line. Automatically, this software will give you signals on your chart. No need to find the trades yourself. Some traders use the Atlas Line with a scalping system like Price Action Scalping. Since the Atlas Line aims to provide market direction, you can scalp alongside the Atlas Line. The included live webinar explains everything you need to know about this futures trading system.

Great YM (Dow) Trade – Clear, Price Action

February 28, 2011

A long setup for 1326.25. Profit target was around 1.5 points and would have been a winner. Unless price closes below the Atlas Line, the direction will continue to be long. Otherwise, we'll look for short trades. Take a look at the YM (Dow). The movement was similar. Again, no problem at all reaching the profit target. This is happening within the first hour and a half. Take what you can get – don't get greedy! Every moment in the market increases risk, so stick to the rules and be objective.
