Precise Day Trading System

Deciding when and whether to go long or short can be the most nerve-wracking part of day trading. Another day of Atlas Line resuls is offered. See how the order type changes (from long to short) when price intersects the plotted line. A long trade, rather far from the Atlas Line is traded. If price has moved double the ATR as compared to the plotted Atlas Line, it's considered high risk. This trade was within the normal risk range.

Four Ticks Using Strength of Market

Another profitable ES trade – this one is for a point (four ticks). Often times John is conducting a Mentorship class so his trading is limited. Such is the case with the missed three point long trade and the many Strength and Pullback setups that occurred thereafter. There were six or so opportunities in the afternoon. Two Days Reviewed & Live Trade

After the Tradersworld webinar, John opened his ES chart to find a missed Atlas Line trade (based on a Dbl Bar Short) signal. A review of the previous two day's Atlas Line performance is then given, followed by live trading. In the live trade, a three tick profit target is then hit on a Pullback trade. After the Pullback, John shows a live Strength trade, also profitable.

The Atlas Line can be traded across all decently volatile futures instruments. Take a look at how the 6E (Euro FX) was similar to the ES (E-Mini) chart with a long entry after a series of bullish candles. While the trade worked better on the ES, the 6E still produces consistent winners. There is no such thing as a 100% profitable trading method. It's about consistent trading to build your account over time.

2.5 Point Profit Target Based on ATR

Here's a recap of the day's Atlas Line trades in the E-Mini. Those of you who own the Atlas Line saw (and probably took) the exact same trades. A short at 1356.75 and a 2.5 ATR value worked out nicely to dictate our profit target. This resulted in 2.5 points of profit within a few bars from the entry. The following Strength Trades, also to the short side, resulted in additional profit.

Learn to trade news events by watching this 35-minute live webinar. Using the Bloomberg economic calendar, look for red star events. On average, these market movers cause volatility a couple minutes before, with volatility subsiding about 15 minutes later. A "bad" news event can make the market go up and the inverse is also true. This is why you must learn this accurate method for trading news.
